Measures of Activity: Anterior Segment

The current gold-standard is the measurement of anterior chamber (AC) cells, based on clinical assessment with the biomicroscope (slit-lamp) as per a standardized technique. OCT has now been shown to be sufficiently sensitive to quantify AC cells. EQUATΘR is building on this exciting work to provide automated quantification of AC cells and other measures of anterior segment inflammation such as AC flare, keratic precipitates and iris nodules.
